Question: How are amphetamine levels documented when the lab runs a urine screen and you fail for amphetamines? I am looking for something that will give the same amphetamine levels in a drug screen as Adderall. I am performing an experiment. Any help would be great! Thanks for the info. Answer: UDS is run thru mass spectrum analysis after the chem strip test. I don't think anything will identify the same on spectrum analysis as anything else, because mass spectrum analysis breaks the chemicals down into their functional groups in order to identify them. That's why when you get a fail, they can tell you exactly what drug you tested POS for.

Question: How long do hallucinations last after taking base amphetamine? Me and a few mates used base amphetamine on Saturday and im still having hallucinations now is that normal or have i taken something esle ?

Answer: go see a dr. they shouldnt be effecting you this long. youve mite have taken something else other than meth. im an ex user, never had those, ever. ice, glass, crystalmeth, crank. one is not better than the other, its how it was made. stay away from this nasty drug. its the worce drug out there. it will take over your life, ands in 20 yrs from now youll ask yourself why did i do this? im lucky, i got out & stayed off of it. your answer to your question, no its not normal. get to a dr. good luck

Answer: NO... they are bad for you in every way. they eat brains cells and make you heart race so it has to work harder. They are not a good thing to be taking what so ever. especially with D. I. D. your mind is already running in circles and the person sometimes does not know what they have done anyways and speed makes it worse. Answer: it will always cause a positive, mdma is not the only thing that goes into the manufacture of ecstacy.

Answer: Since it is daily it builds up, and also is dependent upon type of test, would look at 90 days

Question: If a former amphetamine addict lacks motivation constantly, can they ever regain it? A former amphetamine addict- their dopamine receptors gone, their supply of neurotransmitters very low- has no motivation. Listless, apathetic. Will they ever be able to regain it and how so?

Answer: I'm sure it's on an individual basis- but for me it did get better. I am a recovering addict whose drug of choice was meth- it took over a year for me to get to where I actually gave a damn about things... Now (it's been about 2 yrs and 4 mos. since I used meth) I am more motivated than I think I was before the dope. I mean- I have something that I really want and I guess I'm just motivated to get there. I had to get to where I saw how sad I'd become and decided if I was going to be so miserable I might as well be getting high- I found some things to focus on and it really helped me. I also attend NA meetings now and this is a good outlet when I'm having a hard time "just living life".

They have now replaced Pseudoephedrine ( C10H15NO ) with Phenylephrine ( C9H13NO2 ) in over-the-counter cold medicine and i am wondering how easy, if even possible, would it be to remove the two oxygen atoms to make Amphetamine ( C9H13N ) ?

Answer: It would be difficult to remove the phenol. You would also need to add a methyl group which in that location is not easily accomplished. That is why they are changing the active ingredient.

Question: What long-term effects does heavy amphetamine abuse have on your body? For about two years I was taking an average of 140mg of Adderall a day, about four days a week. In the last six months of this, my nose would bleed whenever I took it, even though I was taking it orally, not blowing it. Does anyone know why that could've been happening? Answer: with amphetamines you go insane but you believe your totally normal hahaha, until you give it up and after a long time you realise you where mad after all.

Answer: Usually drug dealers call street made amphetamine SPEED and if they got adderall they call it adderall. It isn't a popular drug around here, but I'm sure it's easy to get. Answer: Regardless of how much water you drink, typically any kind of amphetamine will stay in your system 3-6 days at the most. Anything under 3 days, forget about it. But if you have 14 days, you'll be just fine. But if you are really worried about it, go to your local smoke shop and grab this stuff for about $15 called quick fix. It's synthetic urine. You just have to keep it at body temp (like under your arm pit) up until you have to take the test. But the directions are on the box. Works EVERY single time.

Answer: Adderall is a mixture of dextro-amphetamine salts. Adderall is almost never dispensed, since the generic is tremendously cheaper, and is pharmacologially identical. People who tell you "omg brand name iz bettar!" are ignorant of even the basic concept of 'generic' drugs. Brand name drugs only cost more, because while the original patent on the drug exists, the parent company holds a monopoly on it's production. Generic drugs are created when the original manufacturers patent expires, and reputable corporations use the EXACT SAME ingredients, binders, and procedures to recreate the drug at a deeply reduced cost. Generic drugs all undergo separate FDA evaluation to ensure they exhibit identical dosages, drug release times, blood concentrations, and pharmacological activity as their brand-name counterparts. The only time that brand-name Adderall is dispensed is when the Rx is for Adderall XR (Extended Release), which there is currently no generic for.

I would sincerely avoid the notion that DA Salt Combo is a "Generic" for Adderall. A generic drug for Adderall MUST be fundamentally identical to Adderall. Thus making the only difference between the two, the marketing, 'big name' and all the glossy Madison ave crap about it, which Adderall has. D A Salt Combo, is not the same drug at all, thus not a generic, but instead, one of a few choices a physician has at his disposal, when faced with the need to treat such disorders as indicated. In Pharmaceutical situations, a physician always feels 'better' knowing that s/he has more than a single choice in treating a set of symptoms. But...lets talk about the bad things. In the end, both of these drugs, uncontrolled, unmonitored, used without respect, will end up in a similar situation. Amphetamine is horribly addictive and has some pretty uncomfortable detoxification 'effects'. Probably only second to Heroin detox. And if you want my opinion about the only thing out there worse than Adderall is Desoxyn...prescription Methamphetamine and then the street version. The medical community needs to be careful of this schedule II controlled substance...and then the final care needs to be taken by the patient.
