Isoflurane

Question: What's the difference of sevoflurane, Isoflurane, and enflurane? they are general anesthesia but what's the difference? How will the anesthesiologist know which one he/she will be using in a particular procedure?

Answer: sevoflurane is a sweet-smelling, non-flammable, highly fluorinated methyl isopropyl ether used for induction and maintenance of general anesthesia. Isoflurane is a halogenated ether used for inhalational anesthesia. enflutane is a halogenated ether that was commonly used for inhalational anesthesia during the 1970s and 1980s.
