Vaginal Jelly
Question: I am nearly 31 weeks pregnant and have an increase in clear jelly vaginal discharge. What does this mean? My breasts are also more sore than they were. Has anyone else had this before going into labour? There is no blood but i am still worried, can someone help and quick? xx
My boobs are more sore than usual and i have even worse back ache, my back has been hurting for awhile but it has got much worse in the past week and don't know why.
Answer: It may be just a bit of the mucus plug coming away, rest and relax, your boobs will get heavier and more tender as each day goes by, if you start to get lower back pain, or, tummy tightening then contact your midwife, it's exciting times, just listen to the midwife when she tells you to pant! lots of love x
Question: white jelly like vaginal discharche with blood? I've been having a clear white vaginal discharge with a little blood in it and its been 2 1/2 weeks after i got my period, its not all the time but like twice a day i see it and its really strechy and has like strands of blood in it. What could it be ? i haven't had any type of sexual contact for 11 months.
Answer: You should really see a Gyn doc and have a swab test done to determine what is going on with you. Some diseases have very mild symptoms but the effects can be dangerous if not treated. Please seek medical help.
Question: When you get a vaginal ultrasound do they cover the probe with a condom or jelly? sometimes they just use jelly on me and others they cover it with a condom, why is this?
Answer: The jelly is to make the picture show up its called US JELL and they use the condom for protection for you but don't be worried if they don't they have to clean the probes with a cleaner that kills EVERYTHING even AID and HIV so don't be to worried i'm sure they are not exposing you to anything harmful.
also she might use KY on the probe to make it go in easier on top of the condom
Question: Help! jelly like vaginal discharge. What is it? What does it mean? I am 19 years old. Been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 3 and a half years. I've just come off the pill about 2 months ago. The other day I got jelly like clumps from my vagina. What is it? What does it mean? I'm currently trying for a baby! Will this affect my chances?
Please help
thanks
Answer: I get that when I'm about to ovulate sometimes, or when I am about to get my period.
This'll sound gross, but is it like boogers? Because I get that after I've been sweaty or wet (from arousal) and didn't clean up afterward. You know, like after I have sex, fall asleep, wake up in the morning, and oh, there it is. Boogers.
It's nothing to worry about as far as I know. I too am on the pill, so it is probably just the extra mucus that the pill makes you produce dripping down or something.
Question: Jelly like Vaginal Discharge? Hi, for the past two days i have been getting jelly like vaginal discharge. Has anyone experienced this? or knows what it is? Thanks
Answer: It's normal. I get it every once in awhile. I talked to my doctor. She said it's very normal and nothing to worry about. :)
Question: There is a jelly(odorless) like vaginal discharge every month after periods.I want to know if it is natural or? some kind of abnormality??
Answer: Yes it's normal.
Once you start puberty a white and/or clear discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away. You can wear a pantyliner if it bothers you.
Different Types of Discharge:
White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.
Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.
Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.
Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.
Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle.
Different types of infections:
Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching
Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva
Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period
Question: Could petroleum jelly help fit a tampon in your vaginal hole?
Answer: Do not use petroleum jelly! It's not good to put it inside your body. If after you try to relax your vaginal muscles, you still have trouble inserting a tampon, try KY Jelly.
Question: Jelly-like vaginal discharge? about a week or so after my period, a clear sometimes milky jelly-like discharge secretes for about 2 days. Is this normal? This has been ongoing for several months. There is no pain and it it not foul smelling.
Answer: That's normal fertile cervical mucus - an indication that you are ovulating - which happens about 10-14 days after the start of your period.
Question: what is a jelly like vaginal discharge?
Answer: Once you start puberty a white and/or clear wet mucous discharge is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away. It is what makes sex possible. You will also have your own unique musky scent and it will smell stronger to you than to others.
You can have this normal discharge for weeks, months or even years before getting your first period. It will also continue after you get your period. Some girls do produce more discharge than others. You can wear a pantyliner if it bothers you. The amount and consistency can vary due to hormones, diet, water intake, exercise, illness and medication.
Your normal white/clear discharge will turn yellow or dry yellow when exposed to air. If it is coming out yellow, then you probably have a bacterial infection and need to see a doctor.

Question: Clumpy jelly-like vaginal discharge? Okay, so lately out of nowhere I've been having this weird, clumpy, clear, jelly-like discharge from my Vagina. I've never had my period before, and today I was having strange pains in my lower stomach/bladder area (cramps, maybe?). I was wondering if this is a sign I'll be starting my cycle soon, and if not, what is this jelly-like substance and why am I discharging it?
I forgot to say, it's pretty in-tact. It's like the feeling of the glue that's on credit cards that come in the mail, the really stretchy jelly glue.

Question: why do girls get vagina jelly? why do some girls get vaginal jelly? :S what is it and what causes it?
but never had sex before
MILA! stop being rude obviouslly I'm not as old as you are to know these things so if you don't have something nice to say DON'T say it at all.
Answer: If your talking about Vaginal Discharge, it happens because its a 'self cleansing mechanism', The normal moist discharge clears dead cells and bacteria from the vagina.
Normal discharge doesn't smell or cause any irritation.
In the case of abnormal discharge however then -
Thick and white -
> Normal in some women.
> Possible Thrush.
Itchy -
> Possible Thrush.
> Possible Trichomoniasis.
Smelly -
> Possible Trichomoniasis
> Possible Gonorrhoea.
Question: Thick, Jelly like vaginal discharge? i'm only 15 so im not sexually active*******
thts what i meant
Lately there has been alot of thick, clear jelly like discharge building up in my "private girl area" :P
I'm only so im not sexually active.. im a virgin.
It has no odur but it is really bothering me because it makes me feel uncomfortable. Should I wear some pantyliners because it is normal or should i go to the doctor?
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it but: i had a small surgery a week ago and ever since then, i pee more often and tht is when the discharge increase began.
(im going to talk to my mom about it later today)
is this an infection? or normal?
thnks!!
i started my period 2 years ago
Answer: hi i know what your talking about i have it and my mom told me about it and my friends asked me about it too (it looks like snot) its part of a womans body and its natural it's nothing to worry about. :)
but if you find a lot in your underwear or some thing then you could have a yiest infection my mother told me that.
(my mom and dad are doctors)
Question: what could a clear, jelly like vaginal discharge accompanied with a very small amount of blood mean? I went to use the bathroom as usual and found that i had this happening. there was very little blood and i know it wasn't a period and i didn't hurt at all. it was in the middle of the day and i hadn't had sex or done anything very physical. Keep in mind my husband and I are trying to have a baby. I don't want to get my hopes up so I haven't taken a pregnancy test. I'm waiting to see if I miss my period. Thank you!
today is the eleventh and i am not supposed to start until around the twenty first. this happened around two weeks ago. we have sex a lot.(sorry for the detail)
today is the eleventh and i am not supposed to start until around the twenty first. this happened around two weeks ago. we have sex a lot.(sorry for the detail) and i never do this before my period so i don't think it could be a result of my period coming. the discharge looked like really thick lube.
Answer: your period is coming
Question: Brown vaginal discharge for 9 days so far, the 1st day had a brown jelly discharge, but it stopped afterward? I'm 21, female. I am sexually active with my boyfriend, but I used to be on birth control in the last year. I have no STDs, nor does my boyfriend have it. We are both healthy people. So most of sexual intercourses are unprotected. I usually have regular periods monthly which is tad strange because the unprotected sex I had, I get periods on time. After sex (9 days ago), when my boyfriend pulled out, it's like jelly brown discharge from my vagina. It was pretty eerie. I did feel slight pain in the stomach during sex. But the next day, I started to have brown discharge, sometimes red, but there wasn't any jelly.
But as for this month, I started to have brown spotting for 9 days so far. I had period two weeks ago. In between is usually light red/brown, but it went away, then turned brown. But for today, it was sort of light, but sometimes most of the brown spotting appeared really gooey (sorta like a vaginal discharge) and it does give sour odor every time I go to the bathroom. On some days, I usually have sharp cramps in my lower right of my stomach, usually, and then brown spotting occurs.
But why does my urine smell and why every time I wipe it off, it has brown vaginal discharge (that it is really wet and gooey)? But today, it is starting to get a little light. I'm trying to ponder when this brown spotting will stop. I have no health insurance at all and I'm in the middle of nowhere such as foreign country.
Answer: You have a yeast infection of the vagina..very common world wide concerning women.
Taking a birth control "pill" is commonly part of the reason you develop a yeast infection. The "pill and or antibiotics disrupts the levels of friendly bacteria existing in your body..mainly existing in your stomach, resulting in a yeast infection of the vagina...a near perfect place for bacterias to grow and thrive.
A yeast infection is a form of unfriendly bacteria which exists in your body but the levels are regulated by the existance of many forms of friendly bacteria which keeps the levels of unfriendly bacteria in check.
Your levels of friendly bacteria are low, allowing unfriendly bacteria to thrive.
One way to increase your levels of friendly bacteria is to consume a good quality "Pro-Biotic" formula having high levels of the many kinds of friendly bacteria found in your body.
If you can get to a health food store you can buy the Pro-Biotics in capsule form.
You swallow them before or after a meal...4 to 6 caps 2 to 3 times daily .
Also in your case it is recommend you clean your vagina with warm water (douching) and after cleaning you insert several of the Pro-Biotic capsules up inside your vagina.
This will restore the levels of friendly bacteria in you vagina.
They are not medicines and there is no harm or side effects.
Other than that you can go to a Pharmacy and buy off the self medications for yeast infections....there are many brands and they also work succesfully but they do not address the core problem which is a imbalance of friendly bacteria verses unfriendly bacteria in your body and specifically your vagina.
You may very well have a urinary tract infection also originating from the yeast infection which can easily transfer from the vagina to the opening of the your urinary tract and then travel up into your bladder and then to your kidneys.
If that is the case.....best to have the condition taken care of as soon as possible because a urinary tract infection can become a serious health concern.
Question: this Q is for the women, i've this vaginal secretion thats thick & like clumpy, jelly like matter, transparent. does any one know what is it? it never happened to me before. i have stopped my pills last month and waiting for my period. but this secretion is something like i have never had before. its transparent, jelly kinda, comes out in a long clump. god i hope you guys know what i am talking about. cos i sure have no idea what the hell it is. please lemme know if u have any idea what it is.

Question: How Does A Young Girl Deal With Vaginal Discharge? I've learned that vaginal discharge is just uterus sheddings that appear white, odorless, and jelly-like in your panty. How does one prevent this from happening too often the next time? Or this just natural for young, growing, girls?
Answer: it's natural for ALL women of ALL ages. you can't prevent it, it's your vagina cleaning itself and your natural lubrication. wear a pantyliner if it's like soaking through your pants.
Question: What are the differences between types of K-Y Jelly? I'm getting married thus summer, and neither one of us have been nor will be sexually active until we are married. I've heard that for at least the first time, K-Y Jelly is recommended as a lubricant. However, there are many types of K-Y Jelly: KY-Jelly, KY-Warming, Silk-E, Yours and Mine, Intrigue, Vaginal moisturizer, Touch Massage,etc...
Are there many differences? If so, which would be recommended for two virgins on their wedding night/honeymoon?
Answer: I wouldn't use KY, personally. My gynecologist recommended Astroglide to me instead because she said KY balls up and dries out pretty quickly, and the astroglide keeps working until you are actually finished. If you don't actually need lube very much (some people are fine with just lubricated condoms or nothing) then KY might suffice, but I find that's not the case for me and I'd hate to come up short on my wedding night. My experience is consistent with what she's said, I experienced pain until I started using astroglide instead, and if your wife is nervous she may find it difficult to get her natural lubricants going right away. Astroglide is MUCH slipperier though, so you have to be careful with it when you go to use it or you may have a humorous experience. :P
However, if your heart is set on using KY the first time, I'd just get the plain kind. I've tried a few different ones and am usually disappointed in the results, and sometimes they actually have a negative effect (we really did NOT like yours and mine). I would prefer to experience one thing at a time, just have sex the normal way your first time, figure out what you might like from there, and then experiment to your hearts content.
Question: Has any girl faced vaginal infections after using Vaseline(petroleum jelly)/olive oil as a lube? i want to use it basically to finger my partner who is a girl. There is no place i can buy lubricant here in my town.We don't need condoms while fingering so it eliminates the dangers of breaking the latex.
I know that these lubes don't work with condom.
I just want to know HOW bad it is for her vagina.
And if these are bad ,then what alternatives can i use?
I am only talkin in vaginal-health terms
Answer: I do not think those are infectious.
